These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kept Clean website and the affiliated portal for booking of our residential and commercial cleaning services. By accessing our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Overview & Booking
Kept Clean, LLC provides premium, eco-conscious cleaning services utilizing scientific precision and meticulous care.

Accuracy of Information: Pricing and time estimates are generated based on the details provided by the client during the booking process. It is the client’s responsibility to honestly represent the condition of the home or commercial space.

Scope of Work: Any changes or additions to the agreed-upon scope of work require a separate authorization and may incur additional charges.
2. Payment Terms

Accepted Methods: Payments can be made via credit/debit card, electronic bank transfer, or online payment platforms such as Zelle and CashApp.

Confirmation: Upon successful transaction, clients will receive an email confirmation containing the receipt of payment and details of the service date and time.
3. Scheduling, Arrival, and Access

Arrival Window: Our cleaning teams will arrive within a 30-minute window of the scheduled start time to account for traffic and the unique needs of prior clients.

Buffer Time: We include a 15-minute buffer period to accommodate unforeseen delays, ensuring our team is never rushed and quality is not compromised.

Client Access: Clients must ensure that access to the premises is available at the scheduled time. If our team cannot access the property upon arrival, a rescheduling or lockout fee will apply.
4. Rescheduling, Cancellations, and Refunds

24-Hour Notice: Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled cleaning for a full refund without penalty.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours prior to the appointment will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Refund Processing: Eligible refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days.
5. The Kept Clean 24-Hour Service Guarantee
We do not offer cash refunds for services rendered. However, we stand behind our meticulous care with a strict service guarantee.

Reporting Window: If there are any concerns, issues, or areas that fall short of your expectations, you must contact our office within 24 hours of the completion of the cleaning.

Resolution: If notified within the 24-hour window, we will promptly return to address and re-clean the specific issue at no additional charge.
6. Operational & Safety Policies

Professional Footwear: For the safety of our staff, all cleaning technicians are required to wear closed-toe shoes at all times. Staff will not remove their shoes while cleaning, but will wear clean, properly fitted shoe coverings in carpeted areas to protect your floors.

Eco-Friendly Commitment: We exclusively use environmentally preferable products (including Green Seal and EPA Safer Choice certified products) to protect human health and the environment.

Vulnerable Populations: If there are individuals in the home with high chemical sensitivities, respiratory issues, or compromised immune systems, clients should notify us so we can adapt our procedures or product choices accordingly.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on keptclean.org and keptconnect.org, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Kept Clean, LLC and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any materials without express written permission. (Standard Industry Clause)
8. Limitation of Liability
While Kept Clean is fully insured for work-related damages or accidents, we are not responsible for pre-existing property conditions, faulty installation, or normal wear and tear. Kept Clean’s liability for any damages arising out of the use of our website or services shall be limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question. 9. Privacy & Communications
By providing your contact information, you agree to receive communications regarding your service.

Text/SMS Opt-In: Clients may opt-in to receive text messages for appointment reminders and arrival updates. You may opt-out by replying "STOP". (Standard Industry Clause)

Confidentiality: We operate with total professional discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding our clients' homes and identities.
10. Modifications to Terms
Kept Clean reserves the right to amend or update these Terms, as well as any operational policies, at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes via email or through an update posted on our website.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. (Standard Industry Clause)
